Feeding Success

For those who choose to breastfeed, our pediatricians and lactation specialists will work with you on the logistics and mechanics of feeding while coaching you through the emotional challenges of feeding a newborn.  Our team also includes a medical supply specialist who will deliver a hospital grade pump to your home and save you the unnecessary trip to the pharmacy during these early days.   Finally, our nutritionist will help you take care of your own nutritional needs while you nourish your baby.

Emotional Wellness

At your baby’s early visits, your Premier Pediatrician will take a moment to talk to you and your partner about how you are feeling.  At the 2 week, 5 week, and 6 month visit, a brief depression screening is administered.  When appropriate, we will provide you with access to support groups and individual therapy commensurate with your family’s financial, emotional, and geographic needs. All of our groups and therapy sessions are led by our handpicked network of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Parenting Fundamentals

How do I pace myself?  What should I eat to keep myself healthy?  How will I balance everything when I return to work?  These are a few of the many questions that will cycle through your head during the last trimester of pregnancy and the early days of parenthood.  We have assembled a team of extraordinary speakers to help you think through some of these questions.  We offer evening seminars for expectant parents and both evening and daytime lectures for new parents.
